Gastronomy

Both the small and large attack of hunger can be stilled at "Schüler's GastZoonomie" in theWilhelma Restaurant, in the "Restaurant am Schaubauernhof" and also in "Café Belvedere". All these places offer a wide selection of food and drinks.

Wilhelma Restaurant

Wilhelma Restaurant, also known as the main restaurant, is to be found not far from the Main Entrance, close to the large aviary where birds can be seen in free flight. It is directly adjacent to Wilhelma Theatre. With seating capacity for 400 people indoors and 600 outside, the restaurant is also suitable for larger groups of visitors.
On the menu are dishes that can be had all year round, independent of the season, such as breadcrumbed escalopes ("Schnitzel") with chips, and also special children's menus. In addition seasonal dishes such as asparagus or seafood and other culinary specialities may be served.

"Restaurant am Schaubauernhof"

"Restaurant am Schaubauernhof" is directly next to the camels' paddock and that section of the Demonstration Farm where it is permitted to stroke and feed the animals (animal handling area).
Having 100 seats indoors and 200 outside, it is somewhat smaller than Wilhelma Restaurant. Its proximity to the animal handling area makes it attractive for families with children. There is a kiddies' corner with toys, for instance Lego stones and jigsaw puzzles.
In general the same dishes are served as in the main restaurant.

Bistro Belvedere

"Bistro Belvedere" is situated up above the Sub-Tropics Terraces. From the 150 outdoor seats one can enjoy a beautiful view across Wilhelma and the city district of Bad Cannstatt. There are also 40 seats inside the bistro.
On the menu are small dishes, suitable for satisfying the between-meals attack of hunger. As in the other two restaurants one can also order various coffee specialities and a selection of cakes. Ice cream is served during the summer season.
