Plants at the Wilhelma

Wilhelma's botanical gardens cultivate more than 8,500 different plant species and varieties. Wilhelma is famous for orchids, azaleas, camellias, bromeliads, fuchsias as well as cacti and other succulents.

The area of the botanical gardens includes not only the show houses, in which the plants are exhibited for visitors, but also a large garden centre of its own with greenhouses and nurseries.
